"I have always thought it would be the coolest thing in the world to stay overnight in Target," Jordan Matter says, about twelve minutes in. By then he is building that dream on his own, because his opponents have already been through his cart.

"My SECRET SLEEPOVER in Target" puts Jordan against his daughter Salish and the model and creator Haley Baylee inside a closed store. They have two hours to build the better sleepover before a mystery judge arrives. An on-screen tracker lists the jobs: pick a spot, build a tent, pajamas, bed, electronics, beauty, snacks, decor, and even a plant. The video has drawn about 2.7 million views since yesterday.

The girls play it as a heist. They claim the spot by beauty, which Jordan concedes is a good one, right next to the food. They need their cameramen's help to get the cover onto their pop-up canopy, then make up the time by lifting camping supplies and 12-pound weights from Jordan's cart. They also win a shopping-cart race to electronics, carrying a full glass of juice without spilling, and the prize is a 50-inch TV. While Jordan furnishes his tent, they slip behind the store's Starbucks counter to make iced matcha.

Jordan's revenge is pure dad: he aims a Bluetooth speaker at the coffee bar and plays a music video Salish made in 2021. Haley, meanwhile, pushes Salish in a cart straight through a tower of paper towels.

The secret in the title arrives near the 20-minute mark, when Brooke Monk walks in with a squad of friends. Salish's plan all along was to bring in a crew to build her dream sleepover for her. Brooke announces her department at once: she is responsible for beauty.

The comments are full of timestamps from the second half. Viewers point to a line about backing into poles and to a moment past the half hour that has some of them feeling sorry for Jordan, who has been outnumbered since Brooke's crew came through the doors.
