This kid is a natural! 🛹

"Are you in a dinosaur suit?" the boy asks Gabe at the start of their beachside reunion. "I might be," his freeskating coach replies.

The costume gets the first question, but the student's progress becomes the point of JMK Freeskates' new Short. Gabe hasn't seen him since their last lesson. Soon he is following the boy down the boardwalk, filming his tight turns and calling after him: "Hey, get back here! You're a pro!"

The reunion drew about 225,000 views in its first day, compared with roughly 16,000 for a usual JMK Freeskates Short. It's a lesson follow-up rather than a first attempt: the boy's mother talks about his practice, and he tells Gabe he got the hang of riding within days.

There is more to learn beyond cruising. Gabe coaches him through flicking a skate from the ground into his hand, and a successful catch earns cheers from both his coach and his mother. A passing man wearing boxing gloves contributes a fist bump, too. Viewers have picked up on that unexpected visitor, with one saying he brought back memories of their grandfather.

Then comes another trick and a dropped skate. Gabe demonstrates while holding a slice of pizza, prompting a familiar student's complaint about a teacher making something difficult look much too easy.
