Fifteen shorts, one title and 17 million views for Jasmin and James Dance

The couple, professional dancers before social media, kept their dance channel stocked all week with clips that all share the same viral-trend name.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

JASMIN AND JAMES VIRAL TIKTOK DANCE TREND - #dance #trend #viral #couple #funny #shorts

Jasmin and James put fifteen shorts on their dance channel over the week, and every one of them goes by the same name: "JASMIN AND JAMES VIRAL TIKTOK DANCE TREND." It is the habit we described here a week ago, now at full tilt, and it makes the channel read less like a list of videos than a running reel.

The newest batch went up on October 7, and those clips are the ones moving now, each a few thousand views into its first day. Under the busiest of them, one viewer simply dubbed her "Spider Jasmin," which says more about the clip than its title does.

The channel as a whole ran well below its usual daily pace, yet the week still came to about 17 million views and 8,000 new subscribers. Among the dance and performing arts channels close to it in size, none gained more views over the week. Mia Van Haarlem had the biggest subscriber week of the group, while Jack Jerry ran quieter than usual.

The about text tells the backstory: dance is how the two met and fell in love, long before their main channel took off, and this one exists because viewers kept asking to see them dance again. Fifteen shorts in seven days look like an answer.
