Conduit's ultimate, underrated: iTemp's Apex buff videos carry a week off
Three September videos about balance changes, from Conduit to the Triple Take and the Charge Rifle, kept the channel company while nothing new went up.
iTemp PlaysStory of Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
I Underrated Conduits Ultimate Buffs - Apex Legends Ranked
A million subscribers and change, more than 360 million views behind it, and a channel that says exactly what it does: "Hello friends. I play Apex Legends." iTemp Plays posted nothing new over the past seven days, so the week belonged to September.
The freshest of those videos is still the busiest. "I Underrated Conduits Ultimate Buffs - Apex Legends Ranked" is nine days old and picks up more views each day than anything else on the channel, an admission of a misjudgment in its own title, filmed in ranked play. Conduit, Respawn's support Legend whose ultimate throws down a line of jammers to stop enemies in their tracks, got stronger, and iTemp went to find out by how much.
Behind it sit two more videos about the same season of changes. "Apex Buffed The Triple Take In An Oddly Specific Way..." and "They Really Buffed Up The Charge Rifle In Apex Legends And..." both leave their verdict hanging after the dots, which is half the fun of the titles. Taken together, the three read like a small field guide to one patch, gun by gun and Legend by Legend.
Without a new upload the channel ran well below its usual daily pace, and the subscriber count held steady. Among the shooter and battle-royale channels nearest its size, the big weeks belonged to Waffloos and Aztecross, while Nadeshot Plays and Noskii were quieter still.
