Two Google shorts, a day apart, now double iJustine's daily views
Neither has slowed since they woke up, and under them viewers are arguing about the same thing the fine print warns about.
Why this story? The video is running at 101,260 views a day, 14 times its usual pace (7,369).
#GooglePartner Upgrade Today!
"#GooglePartner Upgrade Today!" and "#GooglePartner Making my life easier with Google AI Pro" went up a day apart in mid-September, and now they are moving almost in step. Each drew about a hundred thousand views over the last day. Between them, they have pushed Justine Ezarik's channel to roughly twice its usual daily pace.
As we reported here, both clips came back to life at the same time. A day later, neither has eased off. "Upgrade Today!" is the steeper climb of the two: fifteen days after it was posted, it is running nearly fourteen times its own typical rate.
That is a curious turn for a channel built on unboxings. Her newest full video is still the conversation with Snap's Evan Spiegel about Specs from September 22. Before that came a busy run: the new Mac mini and Mac Studio, two Apple Watches side by side and a 300-inch Hisense laser projector standing in for a TV. For now, two short clips are doing the work.
The comment section is small, with one new comment in the last day, and what is there reads like a debate about handing work to an assistant. One viewer jokes that if Gemini can answer everything, there is no need to watch reviews anymore. It is a pointed line to leave under a tech reviewer's video. Others worry about wrong answers going unchecked, one describes a frustrating search that took several tries to get a host's name right, and another simply wants a model that runs locally. The fine print under the second short makes the same point in fewer words: check the responses.

@chun1324See it on YouTubeNice short iJ!
@Campwise05See it on YouTubePart of the fun is doing the research, assuming it’s tech-related and not purely scholastic. 😆 Also, that curated .doc resembles a TOS Agreement contract. And who wants to read those? 😉
