A watch with a cuff inside: SuperSaf Shorts' Huawei Watch D3 unboxing wakes up
Eight days after it went up, the short is outdrawing the Galaxy tablet, the Nothing headphones and the giant LG TV that followed it on the channel.
Why this story? The video is running at 42,694 views a day, 17 times its usual pace (2,479).
Huawei Watch D3 ASMR Unboxing
SuperSaf Shorts, the short-form side of tech reviewer SuperSaf, unboxes gadgets with no talking, only the sounds of cardboard, plastic and clicks. On September 23 that treatment went to the Huawei Watch D3, and for about a week the short behaved like most of its neighbors. Then it picked up speed. It is now drawing about seventeen times its own usual daily pace and has passed 67,000 views.
The watch explains some of the curiosity. According to the description, it hides an inflatable cuff inside the strap that wraps the wrist for what Huawei bills as medical-grade blood pressure readings. That is an unusual thing to hear and see open up in a silent unboxing.
The short has now passed everything posted after it. The iPhone 18 Pro Max cases, an unboxing of LG's first 115-inch QNED TV, a Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and the Nothing Headphone (1) Pro are all well behind. Much of the channel's busier stretch comes from this single short.
The small comment section is international, with notes in French, Spanish and Hungarian. One viewer asks whether the watch comes in gold, and another admits to buying the D2 earlier this year.
Other gadget channels of a similar size are busy too. Level 2 Jeff and DMS are both running well above their usual pace.
