Cricket Heads game with Marnus & Adam Zampa
Adam Zampa and Marnus Labuschagne sat down for a round of Cricket Heads, the celebrity guessing game with a cricket twist, and it became the most watched of Fox Cricket's seven uploads, close to 300,000 views in four days. The tags give away a couple of the answers: Monty Panesar and Danish Kaneria. Viewers keep coming back to how fast one of them landed on the former Pakistan leg-spinner, while others would like to add a correction: Panesar, they point out, was born in Luton. Several are amused that Zampa, of all people, looks so serious.
Marnus is the thread running through the week. The first episode of his South Africa tour diary has him talking coffee, his favorite bats, family, faith and why he keeps believing in his Test career. Then, on Monday, came the proof on the field: 111 off 89 balls against a Cricket South Africa Invitation XI, with 19 fours. That clip is already the second-busiest thing on the channel.
Around him sat match highlights: Australia's third ODI in South Africa, and India's series against the West Indies, including a game the title says brought the fastest 200 ever.
The channel as a whole drew about half its usual daily views, a pattern shared by most of the sports channels near its size. Among them, Fox Cricket sits in the middle on views gained over the week, while DP World Tour and WST had the biggest weeks.
