Nathan Cleary's first Dally M Medal, and a Kalyn Ponga run on Grand Final day

Fifteen uploads closed out the 2026 season, from the awards night through Penrith's State Championship clash with Redcliffe to the decider itself.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

"2026 Dally M Awards | Nathan Cleary wins his first medal | NRL" went up on September 30, and its title carries a small surprise. Cleary has steered Penrith to premiership after premiership, four in a row from 2021 to 2024, yet the league's top individual honor had never been his until this year. The clip passed 100,000 views over the week. The Team of the Year reveal from the same night went well past that, and its comment section is still full of wingers people think were left out.

Then came Grand Final weekend, and the channel shifted toward Sunday. The standard highlights of the Roosters and Knights passed 200,000 views inside two days, as we reported here, but the extended cut, posted a little later, is now the busiest video on the channel. A short called "There. Goes. Kalyn!" gave Newcastle's fullback and 2023 Dally M winner a moment of his own. The Panthers and Dolphins in the NRL State Championship rounded out a full Sunday.

It was a busy week, though daily views ran below the channel's usual level, and about 2,000 new subscribers arrived. Most of the sports channels nearby were also running under their normal pace. Only the DP World Tour and WST, snooker's home channel, added more views.
