Bangladesh and England's legends meet in Match 6, streamed whole on Sports TV
Five uploads covered one World Championship of Legends game, and the full live broadcast drew far more than the highlights, the ceremony and the post-match show around it.
Why this story? The video opened at a pace of 565,933 views a day, 79 times a normal first day on this channel (7,200).
LIVE | Bangladesh Champions vs England Champions | Match 6 | WCL 2026 | M9O1T
A fresh upload on Sports TV usually ends its first day with a few thousand views. The full live broadcast of Bangladesh Champions against England Champions, Match 6 of the World Championship of Legends 2026, was close to 290,000 within eight hours.
The channel covered the game from every angle: the live stream, two separate highlights cuts, a post-match show and the presentation ceremony. Viewers chose clearly. The live feed took the lion's share. The full highlights package came a distant second, though it too ran well ahead of a usual first day. The shorter highlights, the ceremony and the post-match show barely moved, and neither did a France-Belgium Nations League press conference posted the same day.
The World Championship of Legends is a tournament for retired internationals, who play in teams named after their countries with "Champions" added. That idea runs through the only comment under the stream so far. Written in Bangla, it says these veterans played better than the current national team.
The match lands on a channel that is already busy. Sports TV is drawing more than three times its usual daily views, and its lifetime total sits within about two and a half million of a billion.
