Sports TV posted full highlights of Pakistan chasing down South Africa in Karachi, and the video started at more than sixty times the channel's usual pace for a new upload. The channel's about text covers cricket, football, kabaddi and volleyball. The day before, an Afghanistan against India series opener had lifted it. This one goes much further.

The game is the third match of the 2025 Tri-Nation Series. South Africa set a target of 353, built on runs from Temba Bavuma, Matthew Breetzke and Heinrich Klaasen. Pakistan got there with six wickets in hand and an over to spare. Salman Agha made a century at well over a run a ball, Mohammad Rizwan stayed unbeaten on a hundred of his own, and Fakhar Zaman gave the chase a brisk start. The description calls it Pakistan's highest successful ODI chase, and it is.

That Karachi night was in February 2025, and the win sent Pakistan into the series final against New Zealand. Breetzke arrived in the game fresh from a record 150 on his ODI debut a few days earlier. Sports TV's highlights come a year and a half after the match, and the old chase is still what its audience wants to watch.
