Deep Ellum shootings leave 4 dead, 15 injured on Halloween night #news #dallas

Emergency lights fill the split screen as a Dallas police official describes the toll of shootings during Halloween festivities in Deep Ellum: four people dead and approximately 15 others injured across three separate scenes.

"This is completely unacceptable for it to take place in Dallas," he says in the briefing shared by FOX 4 Dallas-Fort Worth. He pledges that police will do everything needed to take those responsible into custody.

The short report pairs his remarks with nighttime footage of police and emergency vehicles in the neighborhood, an area near downtown known for its restaurants, bars and arts venues.

The clip drew about 35,000 views in its opening twelve hours, already well beyond the station's usual first-day audience for Shorts. FOX 4 has also posted a longer police update and a separate interview with a Deep Ellum business owner as its coverage continues.
