Yella Beezy's second trial day brings a witness's refusal to answer

FOX 4's extended courtroom feed drew unusually heavy viewing, alongside a separate upload of Jose Bodega invoking the Fifth Amendment.

Why this story? The video opened at a pace of 147,616 views a day, 36 times a normal first day on this channel (4,092).

Day 2: Yella Beezy on Trial for MO3 MurderDay 2: Yella Beezy on Trial for MO3 Murder

FOX 4 Dallas-Fort Worth's second-day courtroom feed drew more than 110,000 views in 14 hours, far beyond the station's usual start for extended broadcasts. The attention was not confined to a brief recap: viewers were opening a raw feed that includes stretches of waiting beneath the Texas state seal.

The trial concerns prosecutors' allegation that Dallas rapper , whose real name is Markies Conway, arranged the killing of fellow rapper . Conway has pleaded not guilty to capital murder and denies involvement. MO3, whose real name was Melvin Noble, was killed on Interstate 35 in Dallas in 2020.

A separate FOX 4 upload captures a development from the day's proceedings. Called by prosecutors, Theodore Thomas, known as Jose Bodega, invoked the Fifth Amendment rather than answer nearly every question. According to the station's description, Thomas had previously testified before the grand jury that indicted Conway.

That focused courtroom video also drew an unusually fast start for the station. Together, the uploads offer different ways into the same trial: the extended courtroom feed and a separate record of Thomas declining to answer prosecutors' questions.
