15-year-old shot and killed after argument at Philly gas station
Two medical professionals passing through Port Richmond tried to save a teenager who collapsed after being shot, Philadelphia police told NBC10 Philadelphia.
Reporting from outside police headquarters, Valeria Aponte Feliciano describes an argument at a gas station that ended in a fatal shooting. Inspector DF Pace says the teenager ran about half a block before collapsing. The teenager later died at a hospital, and police arrested an adult suspect.
The report reached about 45,000 views in its first day, nearly thirty times the station's usual audience for Shorts. Its account centers on the police investigation and the attempt by passersby to provide lifesaving help.
Aponte Feliciano also reports on a separate fatal shooting in West Philadelphia, where police say a man died in an apparent domestic dispute. At the time of the broadcast, police had not released the victims' identities and were asking the public for information.
