FOX 4 Dallas-Fort Worth's broadcast, titled "Day 1: Yella Beezy on Trial for MO3 Murder", passed 110,000 views within 14 hours. That puts it far ahead of the station's usual start for long courtroom broadcasts and live streams.
The case concerns the killing of MO3, whose real name was Melvin Noble, in an ambush on Interstate 35 in Dallas in 2020. Prosecutors allege that Yella Beezy, whose real name is Markies Conway, paid another man to carry out the shooting. Conway has denied involvement.
The opening footage captures the preparations rather than testimony: defense attorneys take their seats, Conway sits beside his legal team, and the camera returns to the Texas seal during the wait for proceedings.
FOX 4 is also carrying the case forward in a separate report by Steven Dial, focused on crime-scene photographs presented during the second day of testimony.
An American rapper from Dallas whose real name is Markies Deandre Conway. His 2017 single "That's On Me" reached the Billboard Hot 100.
