Witches and a vampire priest fill Focus Features' week

Five film clips revisit You Won't Be Alone and Thirst, with Anamaria Marinca and Song Kang-ho at the center.

A mother bargains with Old Maid Maria, then seeks refuge in a mountain cavern. The opening encounter from You Won't Be Alone supplied Focus Features' most-watched new upload, drawing nearly six thousand views in a week devoted entirely to horror clips.

Three excerpts revisit Goran Stolevski's 2022 film, set in nineteenth-century Macedonia. Anamaria Marinca plays Maria, the ancient spirit whose intervention transforms Nevena's life. The selections move from that first bargain to Nevena becoming a witch, then to a later confrontation featuring Alice Englert. These are scenes from the film, not trailers for a new release.

The other two uploads turn to Park Chan-wook's Thirst. Song Kang-ho's Father Sang-hyun discovers the demands of vampirism, then refuses Father Noh's request to share his powers. A priest's duties and a vampire's appetite make distinctly uncomfortable companions.

Beyond the new uploads, science fiction has the strongest momentum. "The Signal | Nic Realizes He Isn't on Earth Anymore," featuring Brenton Thwaites and Laurence Fishburne, is the channel's busiest video right now, comfortably above any of the week's additions.

Focus Features added roughly three million views over the week while its subscriber count held steady. Daily viewing is currently well below its usual level. Among nearby studio channels, Amazon MGM Studios had a substantially larger weekly audience gain, while Paramount Movies finished with a similar total to Focus Features. Here, the fresh schedule belonged to witches and vampires, but The Signal kept the archive moving.
