A scream at 13:50 and a lot of spiders: ElasticDroid's group horror night
Doo turned up in the spider game, and viewers are still arguing over who let out the shriek a little under fourteen minutes in.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
WHY ARE THERE SO MANY SPIDERS
ElasticDroid put out two videos, both cut from his Twitch streams with the usual crew, and the one about spiders is the one people are writing about.
"WHY ARE THERE SO MANY SPIDERS" went up on October 1 and has passed 225,000 views. The comment section keeps coming back to one moment, a scream at about 13:50, and to a small argument about whose throat it came from. Some credit Doo, some name Manepear, and several are simply surprised to find Doo in this group at all. They want him in more horror games. Others wish Grizzy, a regular in Droid's tags, had been there to scream too. One viewer offers a suggestion for the next creepy-crawly game, Huntsman, and someone with arachnophobia admits pressing play anyway.
The day before, "WE WERE FIGHTING FOR OUR LIVES IN THIS GAME" opened almost as briskly and now sits near 180,000. Behind both, a two-week-old outing titled "DOING ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES WITH THE BOYS" is still drawing a steady trickle.
The channel as a whole ran at roughly half its usual daily pace, with about a thousand new subscribers on the week. Among the let's-play channels near his size, only UnitedGamer and javeus gathered more views over seven days, and UnitedGamer more than doubled its usual pace. RedFalcon sat just below. With two uploads, Droid still finished near the top of that group.
