2:35Barnacules marks his 47th birthday by singing happy birthday to himself.
3:06Windows taskbar grouping and browser tab management supply his first software complaints.
6:04He argues that AI demand is driving up the cost of RAM and graphics cards.
9:00Replacement Quest 3 controller prices prompt a discussion of stick drift and repair difficulties.

Barnacules starts the celebration by troubleshooting it. A brief power outage had knocked out his audio setup, leaving TechTalk running silently until he restored the microphone. His explanation involves a RØDECaster Pro, OBS resetting audio devices and a possible problem with the backup power supply. Even the birthday stream needs tech support.

Once audible, he sings happy birthday to himself and settles into familiar territory with co-host AuxxZillify: technology that costs too much or refuses to behave. Windows app grouping gets an early complaint, followed by RAM and GPU prices, which Barnacules connects to AI demand. Looking up a replacement Meta Quest 3 controller supplies another grievance, especially with stick drift proving difficult to repair himself.

The November 1 broadcast was Barnacules Nerdgasm's only new upload of the week and has passed 10,000 views. It is comfortably the channel's busiest video by current daily viewing. The preceding TechTalk, covering software security and AI, continues to pick up a smaller audience, with the Tesla Roadster and PS5 jailbreak discussion further behind.

Across the channel, subscribers were unchanged over the week, while daily views are running at roughly half their usual level. Among nearby gadget channels, Retro Game Corps had a much busier week; Soldier Knows Best was closer to Barnacules Nerdgasm's quieter scale. Here, the birthday broadcast accounts for more than half the week's views.
