Officer Asmon, a cigarette and a rocket launcher in 'This Is Good'

Viewers say the short shows Asmongold watching a version of himself in a police uniform deal with a car in the most explosive way possible.

This Is Good 😭

A day after it went up, "This Is Good 😭" had come close to a million views on Asmongold Shorts, the channel that cuts Asmongold's streams into short highlights and reactions. A new short there usually opens with a small fraction of that.

The title gives nothing away, so the comment section tells the story. Going by viewers, Asmongold is reacting to a clip of himself as a police officer, cigarette in hand, who answers a car on the road by pulling out a rocket launcher. One viewer singles out the look of pure delight on his face as he watches it happen. The most quoted line is the dry report that the vehicle "is no longer mobile."

The cigarette gets as much attention as the explosion. It keeps turning up in clips like this one, and one viewer jokes that he has become the chain-smoking cat of the lore. Others call him the new Nicolas Cage, praise an end-credits gag, or say they now want to rewatch Karl Urban's Judge Dredd. A few viewers point to details, such as a rear-wheel-drive Honda Civic, that make them think the clip was made with AI. The comments came in about seven times faster than on the channel's usual first day.

It was not the only quick start. "This Is Funny Every Time 😭," posted the same day, also ran well ahead of the channel's usual pace, while the next batch of clips, from a Dragon Ball moment in League of Legends to a dating question about height, was already going up behind them.
