Matt Outlaw finds more than bits in Ryobi's MicroTech case
His compact screwdriver-kit unboxing is gathering views again, while viewers weigh cheaper alternatives and the risk of overtightening.
Why this story? The video is running at 42,819 views a day, 9.7 times its usual pace (4,414).
Even RYOBI Hater's Will Love This Tool #tools
Matt Outlaw pulls an electric screwdriver from the spine of a compact case, then works through the little extras packed around it: precision bits, tweezers, pry tools and a magnetic pickup tool for retrieving dropped screws.
The Ryobi MicroTech unboxing on 731 Woodworks added roughly 43,000 views in a day, nearly ten times its usual daily pace. Posted eight days ago, it is getting substantially more attention than it did on its first day.
The title, "Even RYOBI Hater's Will Love This Tool #tools", makes the pitch. The demonstration is more straightforward: Outlaw shows USB-C charging, two speed settings and a front LED, then folds everything back into its case. He presents it as a kit for computers and small parts, a smaller-scale job than the router bits and table saw techniques behind some of the channel's most watched tutorials.
The comments bring the buying questions. Some viewers point to cheaper electric-driver sets; another wonders whether powered driving could make it too easy to overtighten delicate screws. One owner reports using the kit for RC cars and singles out the bit selection as the part they would improve. Others focus on the charging arrangement and the case itself.

What viewers say
I have one of those and I use it for rc cars among other things and it's really good and for the size strong, only complaint is that the bit selection is so so.
@ucitymetalheadSee it on YouTubeAnyone use this kit? I’m a little concerned it would be easy to over tighten screws since it is electric vs hand drive.
