A monopod on a bridge, a trail and a 70-200mm: Tomorrows Filmmakers tries the TRIBEX PRO
The film academy's only upload ends with a short cinematic film shot during the test, and the comment section has mostly turned to the price.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
I Tested the SmallRig TRIBEX PRO on a Real Film Shoot
Two days old and already the channel's busiest video, "I Tested the SmallRig TRIBEX PRO on a Real Film Shoot" is a confession of sorts: the host says he had never seriously filmed with a monopod before. So instead of a studio test, the crew carried it through a full day of shooting, in the city, on a bridge, along park trails, with a 70-200mm lens and eventually a fully built-out cinema camera on top. The chapters walk through the clutch system, the fluid head and foot pedal, a mini-tripod trick and what the video calls the biggest limitation, and the finished film closes it out.
The comments are less about the footage than the price tag. Several viewers balk at paying that much for a single leg, one owner says it has replaced walking around with a tripod, and another wants to know which microphone the host was wearing.
It is the second SmallRig-equipped test in a row: a motocross commercial filmed entirely on the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro, from six weeks ago, is still picking up views, as is a spring video building a full Sony A7S III rig from the rods up.
The channel drew close to twice its usual daily views, though its subscriber count held steady. Among the art, craft and photography channels of its size, Create by K and The Koalas JJ had the loud weeks, and Tomorrows Filmmakers the calmest, which suits a single gear review just fine.

What viewers say
I have one and I’m 100% satisied, I prefer it more than walking with tripod, but I prefer photo version for video, it gives me stable picture in every type of frame composition, without limits of video head movememt :)
