Bruno Fernandes misses a chance, Matheus Cunha has a headed goal ruled out, and Mark Goldbridge's brief celebration gives way to frustration. Chelsea's opener makes things worse. Then the hoodie has to go.

The United Stand XTRA's compilation, "GOLDBRIDGE BEST BITS! Chelsea 2-0 Man United", has drawn roughly 420,000 views in thirteen hours, far beyond the clips channel's usual first-day audience. This is an edit of Goldbridge's live watchalong for The United Stand, rather than footage of the match itself.

The clothing change comes after Lisandro Martínez receives a yellow card. Goldbridge pulls off his hoodie and switches to an adidas shirt, declaring that the previous outfit has not worked. Martínez's second booking, dismissal and the resulting penalty soon send him out of his chair anyway.

Viewers keep returning to that sequence in the comments, particularly the timing of the wardrobe change before the red card. Others say they come straight to Goldbridge's reactions instead of watching conventional match highlights.

There is plenty of football criticism between those moments. Morgan Rogers' opener prompts a complaint about United's defending; Cole Palmer's penalty brings a broader argument about their performance and tactics. By the final whistle, Goldbridge is demanding that Michael Carrick resign rather than applaud the travelling supporters.
