Cherki's half-volley gives Man City hope before Forest counter

City's own highlights of the away defeat drew more than half a million views in six hours, an unusually busy start for the club's short uploads.

That possibility does not last. City's compact account of the defeat at Nottingham Forest ends with Liam Delap finishing a counterattack for his second goal, restoring the home side's two-goal cushion.

The club's upload attracted roughly 560,000 views in its first six hours. The comment section was already much busier than on a usual first day, with Delap's finishing a recurring subject.

There is plenty of frustration between the goals. Enzo Fernández heads over, Erling Haaland has an effort cleared off the line, and another Haaland chance goes narrowly wide after Cherki has pulled City back into the game. Forest threaten again through Ryan Yates, whose deflected shot strikes the top of the crossbar, before Delap supplies the finish that puts the comeback out of reach.
