Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Dominating Minecraft's Biggest PVP Tournament

TheobaldTheBird calls himself "the biggest bird in minecraft," and among the Minecraft channels close to his size he added the most views this week, about 2.3 million. That still sits well under his usual pace, which ran unusually hot in recent weeks.

The heavy lifting comes from a video nearly two weeks old. "Dominating Minecraft's Biggest PVP Tournament" picks apart how Theo and his teammate spawnplayer123 handled PVP Champs, the event organized by Tubbo, and it has passed 730,000 views. Its tags read like a map of his corner of Minecraft: Lifesteal SMP, the Unstable universe, Wemmbu, Parrot. Right beside it in daily views is "Hitsync 28 - Down Under," the latest in his long-running series of PVP edits.

Two new uploads went up on September 28. "Minecraft Live REACTION" opened with close to 95,000 views on its first day, and the comments make clear what people noticed first: Theo on facecam, glasses included. Plenty of viewers are riffing on his name, and one asks whether the promise to shave his head at a million subscribers still stands. The same day brought "PEAK with Team Hax!", a climbing-game session with his crew.

The channel gained around 7,000 subscribers over the week and stands at 856,000.
