Wilderness Bound Update! (Hermitcraft 11 Episode 47)
What does cubfan135 do when Hermitcraft updates to a new version? He sits down, on everything.
The server moved to 26.3, the Wilderness Bound Update, and Cub's one upload of the week, "Wilderness Bound Update! (Hermitcraft 11 Episode 47)", is a tour of what came with it. He explores the new blocks, visits the Dappled Forest, reworks his storage system to make room for the arrivals and then turns to cushions: on the bed, across the base, and finally in the West Tunnel, where dozens of cushion mushrooms make up a Mushroom Island Tunnel. It drew about 38,000 views on its first day.
The comments read like an update wish list. Viewers want taller oak canopies, orange grass they can pick up with silk touch, an owl or a squirrel for the new biome. Others have the cushions on their minds, joking that after years of standing around, Cub has finally decided to sit. One commenter points out that bone meal already has a passive mob source: salmon.
The golf course runs underneath all of it. The previous episode, the finale of "How to Kill A Tango!", built a Drowned farm for the tridents the course needs, and the description now sets a date: the first Hermitcraft Golf Tournament, Friday, October 9.
The channel ran a little above its usual daily pace, with subscribers holding steady. Among Minecraft creators of similar size it was one of the calmer weeks, while That Chief Guy's channel ran several times busier than usual, and Hermitcraft neighbor PearlescentMoon kept a similarly gentle rhythm.

Which kind of Minecraft mob drops the tridents Cub farms for his golf course?
Tridents in Minecraft come from Drowned, the underwater zombies, which is why Cub built a Drowned farm.
