A secret base for Lovity, as small as it gets, in Dumb's newest short

The same day, a longer Dumb video cast Obesity as Lovity's bodyguard rather than the one she is hiding from.

Who builds the smallest secret base for Lovity escape from Obesity? 🦫🟢 #shorts

Where does a Minecraft character hide when the one after her is called Obesity? In Dumb's newest short, the answer is a building contest: who can make the smallest secret base for Lovity to vanish into.

The short went up on Sunday and had close to 164,000 views thirteen hours later. A new short on this channel usually ends its whole first day near 18,000. The comment section, meanwhile, stayed as small as it usually is.

Lovity, Verity and Obesity belong to the recurring cast that runs through the channel, which bills itself as home to "the coolest duck on YouTube." On the same Sunday, a longer video turned the roles around: "Lovity Hired Verity and Obesity To Protect Her!" So in one upload Obesity is the hired protection, and in the other Obesity is the reason Lovity needs a hiding spot at all. The bodyguard version has stayed far quieter.

The base contest joins a run of strong shorts. The Gorilla King video, as we reported here, has had a day longer online and has more than doubled this one's views, and "EVERY TIME SOMEONE SAYS VERITY'S NAME, HE GETS YOUNGER!" is only a little ahead of the newcomer. In each of the three, a character from Dumb's cast is part of the hook.
