Strick and Fran posted nothing new, yet B2B Castaways added roughly 2.2 million views over the week. Among nearby outdoors channels, MeatEater had the larger weekly audience gain, while Nick Fry had a quieter spell.
The busiest part of the Castaways catalogue is "GIANT FISH: We Sailed To a New Country", now approaching 920,000 views. Despite that title, the episode follows remote coastal Australia, with mangrove waterways, beach fishing and discoveries on land filling the days.
Jack, better known as Strick, spots a sawfish cruising through the shallows. Later, the pair explore shell middens and a shaped stone axe head before finding an overhanging rock shelf covered with Aboriginal depictions of marine life. Dugongs, dolphins and fish appear above them. "This is the best art gallery you could ever ask for," Fran says.
The video includes a sponsored nutritional-drink segment. Its later adventure is less successful: wooden spears and a spotting drone fail to help them catch a school of squid. Then the trip changes course. A foreign object embedded in Fran's eye causes severe pain, and they turn back towards the Australian mainland for medical care.
Channel-wide daily viewing is a little below its usual level, and subscribers were unchanged over the week. "DAY 100 LIVING FROM THE OCEAN In Remote Australia" and the earlier crocodile-and-mudcrab episode also continue drawing views, but this latest coastal journey is attracting the most attention.
