- 0:56Replacement rail guide wheels and a new plexiglass windshield begin the next round of modifications.
- 3:12The team checks alignment, changes wheel spacing and adds protection around the derailleur.
- 6:45The fourth rail test takes place in Augusta, where switches create another obstacle.
- 10:05Fowler temporarily removes the rail equipment and switches to road-and-trail preparation.
- 11:47Storage fittings, a power pack, a novelty horn and solar panels go onto the vehicle.
- 17:19In Eastport, Fowler secures gear and connects charging circuits before the journey.
The rail switches prove less accommodating than the workshop. Zachary Fowler's homemade adventure vehicle travels farther on its fourth test, but a guide bracket catches and an axle collapses. Getting across Maine will require a different approach.
In "Solar Powered E bike Train Car Build Part 4", the only new upload on Fowler's Makery and Mischief this week, Fowler and collaborator Grant work through alignment, wheel spacing and bent brackets before temporarily removing the rail equipment. "She's an e-bike train car no more. At least for the first half of the trip," Fowler says. The episode includes e-bike sponsorship.
That leaves plenty to build: a windshield, storage netting, cargo hooks and solar panels turn the three-wheeler toward road-and-trail duty. An outdoor test brings a happier discovery, followed by a small correction when Fowler realizes the speedometer is displaying kilometers. He then transports the vehicle to Eastport to prepare for the journey.
The upload has reached about 40,000 views and is comfortably the channel's strongest daily draw. The earlier installments, including the original cutting-up of two new e-bikes, remain active too. Viewers are treating the comments like an extension of the workshop, suggesting conical wheels, movable guides and extra weight up front to address the problems shown.
Across the channel, the week brought roughly 420,000 views, while subscribers stayed unchanged. Daily viewing is currently above its usual level. Nearby outdoors channel The Wooded Beardsman had a similarly sized week for views; Kamoka Pearl had a larger one and added subscribers. Fowler's week, meanwhile, ends with the rail hardware set aside and the road-going version packed for Maine.

Really smart of y’all to take multiple test runs and get it perfect . RnD is a pain but necessary with brand new builds
@thomasthemtmanSee it on YouTube2:41 I feel you, really annoying when we try to build something and it doesn't create the exact result we want
@richermorinSee it on YouTubeWeight up front would drastically help the speed wobbles

There is a drill made for glass and ceramic tile that looks like your home-made drill for plexiglass. Good job! 👍
@radagast6682See it on YouTubeNice work mr fowler throughly enjoying the series
@clipzF2playSee it on YouTubeDefinitely need the train wheels to be floating side to side and add an outside guide. Make the guides fit the track and then let them slide in and out to accommodate width.
@T-Wrex1864See it on YouTube8:25 long conicle wheels. They self aligne as the track warps.
@miltroseSee it on YouTubeconical wheels will center it automatically to prevent from derailing off tracks
@ericroy16See it on YouTubeTrain trucks (wheels) are coned so they self center in the rails. Having flat wheels is flawed and will eventually come off the rails. When you go around a corner the wheel speed is different from inside to outside. The coning of the wheel helps counter act that motion.
