A wobbly dog called Jack and 12 million views for Smirk's 'Someone got a little too curious'
Fifteen new Shorts went up on the meme clips channel, and the latest, a dishwashing mishap, drew more than four million views on its first day.

What made Smirk's busiest Short of the week so watchable? Going by the comments, it is a dog who seems to have found the drinks. "Someone got a little too curious 😭" is a recut clip, and the description says only that he had the time of his life. Viewers fill in the rest. They quote the owner telling a dog they call Jack to try to walk, marvel that he still follows commands, and trade jokes about the hangover waiting for him. A few skip the jokes and explain what a vet would advise. Five days on, it has passed 12 million views.
Smirk is a clips channel: existing footage, recut with new captions and a meme-page sense of timing. Fifteen of these went up over the week. The newest, "These dishes aren't gonna clean themselves 🥀", is about a kitchen worker whose hiring the caption openly questions, and it moved faster in its first day than the dog clip did. A day-old Short titled "They did say they wanted to talk✌️" is also off to a quick start.
The channel as a whole ran a bit below its usual daily pace, but it still added about 29,000 subscribers. Among the clips and compilation channels close to its size, none gathered more views over the week. LADbible Ireland was the nearest, and Zhong Clips had the biggest subscriber week in the group. For Smirk, a slower stretch still meant tens of millions of views, nearly all of them on clips under a minute long.
