Europe's CES, seen from a first trip: Reed's IFA 2026 roundup nears 840,000

No new videos from Smart Home Solver, but a 27-day-old tour of Berlin's big tech show is carrying the channel at its usual pace.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

No uploads, no slowdown. Reed posted nothing new over the past seven days, and Smart Home Solver kept drawing views at almost exactly its normal daily rate, close to 400,000 for the week.

Most of that comes from "20 BEST Things I Saw at Europe's CES! (IFA 2026)," the video from what the description calls his first trip to Europe. The chapters read like a walk down the show floor: Govee, Nanoleaf, Aqara lights, a SwitchBot AI art frame, an Anker MindBase, a stretch on robot lawn mowers, an iRobot concept, and a stop at the Open Home Foundation, the nonprofit behind Home Assistant. It closes with Reed weighing CES against IFA. It has been out almost four weeks and is now near 840,000 views.

Right behind it, and younger, is "Music Assistant is WAY More Powerful Than I Thought!", a tour of the open-source music add-on running through his Home Assistant setup, from dashboard controls to sleep headphones and a chapter cheerfully labeled "Questionable music." It is gathering views almost as fast as the IFA video. A June roundup of fifteen devices worth wanting is still finding people too.

Among the tech review channels around his size, Reed sits in the middle for views this week. Jakkuh and Matt Talks Tech had the biggest weeks, while several neighbors ran well below their usual pace. Smart Home Solver simply held steady.
