A jack-in-the-box and a barking kangaroo join Rako's rescuers
The animated story channel gained 92,000 subscribers in seven days, fewer than in either of the two weeks before, but still about 7,000 a day.
Why this story? The channel went from 245,000 to 337,000 subscribers this week.
Rako's heroes keep getting harder to predict. The newest animated shorts give the rescue to a jack-in-the-box that, in the title's words, saves a girl "at the last second," and to a kangaroo that saves a farmer by barking like a dog.
The channel gained 92,000 subscribers over the past seven days and now stands at 337,000, more than a third larger than it was a week ago. That is a smaller weekly gain than the 132,000 and then 116,000 we reported here, but the pace has not stopped. Rako is still adding roughly 7,000 subscribers a day, and its daily views are running a little above its usual pace, which on this channel already means millions.
The pumpkin short that led our last story, "His Pumpkin SAVED Him From The Monster Of The WOODS 😱," has since passed two million views. Of the two newest uploads, the jack-in-the-box story has made the stronger start, while the kangaroo is still small by comparison. In between came a garden that bloomed once someone loved its owner, and a boy who brought an empty pot and became king, a retelling of an old folk tale about honesty.
The channel describes how the shorts are made: each one starts from a blank page, and the team writes the script, builds the animation, records the voice and times every subtitle itself. Every story is dramatized, the about text says. Some are inspired by real events and others are invented outright. The goal it sets there is a million subscribers.
