The Chosen Season 6 - Official Trailer | Prime Video
"I've thought this through every which way. This is how it had to happen." Judas says it while walking through a crowded market, and the line sets the tone for a trailer about choices that cannot be taken back.
The Chosen has spent five seasons with Jesus and the fishermen, tax collector and outsiders around him. Season six is the one the whole series has been heading toward, and the trailer does not soften it. Religious leaders ask whether Jesus means to lead a revolt against Rome. Pontius Pilate warns him about turning people against authority. Jonathan Roumie's Jesus answers with the trailer's central line: "I don't think we view power in the same way."
From there it moves quickly. Jesus is bound, scourged and crowned with thorns while Mary and his followers weep. A crowd shouts "No king but Caesar!" Caiaphas demands to know whether he is the Christ, the Son of God, and the last image is Jesus carrying the cross beam toward Calvary.
It drew about 178,000 views in its first 14 hours, far beyond what Prime Video's short uploads usually manage in a whole day. The comments arrived close to a hundred times faster than usual. Many viewers write about rewatching every earlier season before a new one, and about bracing for episodes they expect to find hard to sit through. Others thank the cast and crew, and the line about power keeps coming back.
The channel's animated shows had a busy day too, with a tearful Stolas and Blitzø moment from Helluva Boss and a tense Husk and Alastor clip from Hazbin Hotel both moving fast. The Chosen, though, drew the biggest crowd, for a season that begins on November 15.

Friday's here...but Sunday's coming!
@PatGunning-s6uSee it on YouTubeMy husband andI re-watch every single episode each year before the new season. I will need a box of tissue for every minute of this season. I know everything in the series isn't exactly the way it actually happened but it makes me ponder on Him and what he went through for us. He is real and that's what matters. Our relationship with Him is real and is everything. ❤

The trailer's opening hours ran well ahead of a usual first day for the channel's short uploads, and its comment section was busier still.
