Pondering Politics drew roughly 6.3 million views across a fifteen-upload week, one of the larger weekly audiences among its nearby political-commentary peers. Jessiah had plenty to work through: Senate polling, Trump's closing rally, Haley Stevens's CNN interview and conversations with Jessica Tarlov and Luke Beasley.
The most-watched new upload was his election-eve polling review, which reached about 226,000 views. Jessiah walks through New York Times/Siena College Senate polls, then examines a Nate Silver forecast favoring Democratic control of Congress. His interest goes beyond the electoral map: he explains why control of the chambers matters for investigations and presidential appointments.
But tucked inside that optimistic reading is a useful distinction. "And polls are not prophecy," Jessiah says. The comments repeatedly return to the same practical point: favorable forecasts are no substitute for casting a ballot. This is pre-election analysis, not a report of the results.
The week's strongest current momentum belongs elsewhere. His conversation with Fox News host Jessica Tarlov is drawing views fastest, followed by a Joe Rogan reaction with Beasley and commentary on Pete Buttigieg's exchange with Lawrence Jones.
Subscribers increased modestly, while daily viewing is somewhat above the channel's usual level. Among nearby channels, Hawk's Podcasts had a particularly large week for views, and The Weekly Show with Jon Stewart added subscribers briskly. For Jessiah, the week also brought more conversation alongside the solo reactions, with Tarlov and Beasley giving the election coverage distinct voices.
