Holborn, a new book and Zack Polanski, live with Ava on PoliticsJOE

The Green Party leader joined author Russell Warfield on the launch night of The Green Socialist, a day after Jeremy Corbyn called for Man City to lose 1,000 points.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Twelve uploads, slower views. PoliticsJOE kept the camera running through Labour's conference week and after it, but the channel as a whole is drawing about a third of its usual daily audience, and the subscriber count has not moved.

The biggest upload of the week is still Andy Burnham's Liverpool speech, posted in full with chapters on water and energy, a National Care Service, electoral reform and the line about Brexit having failed. It passed 170,000 views, nearly all of them on its first day, and the comment section turned into a policy wish list, with public ownership and wealth taxes near the top.

The freshest energy belongs to Ava's live conversation with Green Party leader Zack Polanski and Russell Warfield, held on the launch of Warfield's book "The Green Socialist: Zack Polanski and the Battle for Britain's Future." Chapters ask what Polanski stands for, whether the Greens can take on Reform, and why he is running in Holborn. A one-line short pulled from it, "There's no Prime Minister Burnham without the Green Party," is close behind.

Ava had a busy week all round. She went back over her BBC Newsnight appearance on immigration with Seán, covering what a crowded studio left no room for, and sat down with Jeremy Corbyn, who talked about the blockade of Cuba, Burnham's start as Labour leader and, with a straight face or not, a 1,000-point deduction for Manchester City. A De Niro supercut filled in the gaps.

Most political commentary channels near this size are also running below their usual pace. TYT Investigates is the exception, busier than normal, while Dan Wootton Outspoken gained the most views by a distance.
