My dog collects human friends everywhere 🐶#dog#funnydog#friend#cute

Dogs have some less cuddly company on Plumley.funnypets: a jumping spider, introduced with a title asking who knew spiders could be cute. Posted Thursday, it is the most watched of the channel's listed recent uploads, ahead of the koala, pig and binturong clips.

That small addition arrives during a substantial week for the clips channel. Plumley.funnypets added roughly 30,000 subscribers, expanding its subscriber count by nearly a quarter. Daily views across the channel are also running at almost twice their usual pace.

The spider is a change of scale for a channel whose most watched Shorts include a big cat, gorillas and a breaching whale. Its animal selection stretches well beyond household pets, even when the captions give wildlife familiar domestic habits: the pig thinks it's a lap dog, while the koala has nothing planned beyond eucalyptus naps.

Friday's upload returns to more familiar territory, with a dog billed as collecting human friends everywhere.
