Plumley.funnypets' grandma-and-dog clip passes a million views
The animal-clips channel has added 28,000 subscribers in a week, while an older-dog upload is accelerating too.
Why this story? The channel went from 118,000 to 146,000 subscribers this week.

Plumley.funnypets has another dog clip over the million-view mark, this time an upload billed as a bond between a dog and grandma. Posted in mid-October, it pairs that premise with a description about animals bringing companionship to later life.
It is a new milestone in a week that has expanded the clips channel's subscriber count by nearly a quarter. The channel posts animal footage rather than presenting itself as the owner of the pets on screen.
The older dog highlighted here previously is still moving, too. That upload added nearly a million views in a day, more than five times its usual daily pace, and has also crossed the million-view mark.
Meanwhile, the channel's newest subject is considerably smaller: a jumping spider, introduced with a title asking whether viewers knew spiders could be cute.
