Tyler Vitelli's "DIY snow" comes from a packet, not the pantry

Can You Make DIY Snow? 🤔 #relatablestories #comedy #funnymemes
"Can You Make DIY Snow?" lasts barely a quarter of a minute on Tyler Vitelli's channel, and nearly all of it is setup. Seated behind a table, he repeats a claim he says he saw online: mix salt and sugar, pour in water, and you get snow. Two streams of white powder land on a blue plate, the water goes in, he taps the plate, and the pile swells into something soft and fluffy.
Then he flips it. "And this is why you shouldn't believe everything you see on the internet, because this wasn't salt and sugar," he says. "It was fake snow powder."
The Short passed 8.5 million views in its first 18 hours, far beyond his usual start, and the comments were already coming in at about twice his normal first-day pace before the day was over. A large share of them run with one joke: that Tyler has finally located a working brain cell. The rest are about furniture. Plenty of viewers noticed that the plate rests on a package of Huggies diapers, standing in as a table.
Sugar keeps turning up in his kitchen experiments: last week he held a sugar donut under a running tap, as we reported here. Two older uploads also crossed a million views today, the September Short "This genuinely keeps me going" and the longer "Unspoken Rules We All Followed As Kids." The channel now sits just short of ten million subscribers.
