The evacuation warnings come first. Then Godzilla emerges from the sea, lights up through the fog and fires atomic energy into the sky. Storm Point has a problem that another squad wipe won't solve.

"Apex Legends | Godzilla Event" is the game's official promotional trailer for its November 10 crossover. Its premise is blunt: according to the event description, Godzilla cannot be defeated, only survived. Squads fight through the destruction or dodge the monster's attacks to claim a custom Devotion with heat-ray attacks.

The trailer reached roughly 367,000 views in its first twelve hours, an unusually fast start for the channel's Shorts. The comment section has already drawn more than five times the channel's usual full-day total.

Much of that conversation concerns a conspicuous possible answer to a giant monster: giant robots. Viewers keep invoking Titanfall's pilotable Titans and imagining them joining the event. That's a wish from the comments, not an announced feature. Others nominate Broken Moon as a map Godzilla might usefully demolish.

The trailer does have one mechanical monster of its own: Pathfinder appears in a Mechagodzilla-inspired skin and gives a thumbs-up amid the destruction. Glowing armor and a dagger shaped around Godzilla's dorsal fins round out the crossover imagery. The trailer also flags that not all its images appear in-game and that certain cosmetics require purchases and gameplay to unlock.
