Five videos, one storyline. Nick, the second-channel voice of RunTheFUTMarket, spent the week chronicling his EA Sports FC 27 Ultimate Team season like a serial, and the titles alone tell the plot: destroyed in Division 2 on October 1, promoted to Division 1 on the back of a free Season Pass card, then nearly relegated straight back down.
The centerpiece was "The First FUT Champs of FC27!", his first weekend league of the new game and the week's most watched upload, past a quarter of a million views. Its comments read like a support group. Viewers swap their own records from the same weekend, the last-minute wins and the 90th-minute heartbreaks, and several point to a sitter he missed at 4-4 while streaming. One running joke borrows the old "this changes everything" line, then cancels it with a goodnight.
The freshest chapter is moving fastest. "I Tested Out My NEW Striker in Division 1" drew more in its first eight hours than any other video here pulls in a day right now, so the Division 1 story has an audience waiting for the next episode.
The channel as a whole ran well below its usual daily pace, and subscribers barely moved, holding near 446,000. Among the sports and racing game channels around its size, Bordeaux and MizuRL had the busiest weeks, while nearly everyone else, Nick included, sat under their usual numbers. Even so, his week's views ranked third in that group.
