Bunk beds spark renovation plans in Patrick Botticelli's tiny-home tour

New Jersey Outdoor Adventures' coastal-blue cabin walkthrough tops seven new uploads, from compact campers to an Overland Expo marathon.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

The bunks might have to go. Patrick Botticelli demonstrates both levels in his coastal-blue tiny-home tour, but several viewers are already mentally replacing them with storage, laundry equipment or a tool area.

"This traveling log cabin tiny home can park anywhere!" was New Jersey Outdoor Adventures' most-watched new upload, reaching roughly 54,000 views. The portable Lancaster Log Cabins Coastal Sierra packs in a rear bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and upstairs loft. There is no spoken commentary: the presenter tests the bed, opens cupboards, crawls across the loft and finally settles onto the couch. Despite the title's promise, this is a movable park-model home, not an invitation to disregard local parking rules.

That quick walkthrough sits at the opposite end of the viewing commitment from Patrick's Overland Expo East tour in Arrington, Virginia. Running more than three hours, it moves between pop-top shells, expedition trucks, a vintage Toyota van and camp-kitchen equipment. Elsewhere, the week's uploads found room for a Taxa Outdoors Cricket, an Airstream with a private toilet and shower, and a Formula yacht.

The freshest momentum belongs to Michael and Rina's converted Sprinter tour. Their family layout includes an in-sink dishwasher, hidden storage and a motorized elevator bed, practical answers to fitting everyday routines into a van. The Airstream bathroom tour is close behind in daily viewing.

Across the channel, the week brought about six million views and another ten thousand subscribers, although daily viewing is currently below its usual pace. Among nearby travel channels, Tyler Morgan - Japan Adventures had a particularly busy week, while Rick Steves' Europe was quieter. Patrick's audience, meanwhile, has supplied a very specific design brief: fewer spare beds, more places to put things.

  • Love the coastal blue! I'd put a washer dryer where the bunk beds are and use the loft as office/guest/storage. Love this tiny plan!

  • Washer dryer instead of bunk beds, plus a tool storage area. Upstairs, a huge storage area, walk in closet, guest space.
Very nice layout and large spacious home.
  • I am diggin' how bright and airy it is!
  • I need more sitting in the living room. The grands could use the loft and any other guest. Those bunk space could be used for something else. I do like it overall.

  • I want one of these homes, but half of it is a garage where I can park my van or rv

  • That's a lot of space for sleeping extra people with no extra storage or toilet. Something you don't really think about until you're over 65!

  • Needs washer and dryer hookup
