Blade Runner's Final Cut, voice-over and all, rides the Caravan of Garbage
The 1982 Ridley Scott film, seen in its 2007 version, is the nine-day-old review doing the most work on a channel that posted nothing new.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Blade Runner - Caravan of Garbage
Mr Sunday Movies put nothing new up over the past seven days. Even so, the channel's daily views are running at more than double their usual level, and the week added well over a million.
The video carrying the most momentum is a Caravan of Garbage episode on Blade Runner. The description admits the film bombed on release in 1982 and still reshaped science fiction's look. It also takes a swipe at Harrison Ford's voice-over as Deckard. The episode reviews the 2007 Final Cut instead, the version that drops that narration and changes the ending. The description promises a follow-up next week, and adds that it is not Blade Runner 2049.
Resident Evil fills the next two places. One is a review of Zach Cregger's 2026 film, which the description reports is widely called the best of the series. The other is a Caravan farewell to Milla Jovovich's Alice in The Final Chapter, the end of a long tour through the earlier films.
Among the movie channels of a similar size, ClipZone: High Octane Hits and Reel Rejects drew the most views over the week. Channel Awesome is also running about twice its usual pace. Lindsay Ellis and Rapid Trailer are having quieter stretches. Mr Sunday Movies sits near the bottom of that group for the week's total, and keeps its own line in self-deprecation: its about section reads, in full, "Movies I guess?"
