It's Rude To Stare! | Xena: Warrior Princess | All Action
All Action spent the end of its week on top of the Great Wall. Four scenes from Zhang Yimou's 2016 film went up on October 1 and 2, and together they tell most of the story in miniature: Matt Damon's mercenary William and Pedro Pascal's Tovar interrogated as prisoners, a banquet where William pins a thrown cup to a pillar with a blind shot, a fog battle with harpoons fired into the mist, and the final assault on the Tao Tei queen with black-powder arrows.
They are still finding their feet, each in the low thousands, with the banquet trick shot picking up speed fastest. A Fast Five rescue from earlier in the week, Vin Diesel's Dom pulling Dwayne Johnson's Hobbs out of a street ambush, had a quieter start.
The clip doing the real work is the Xena scene we reported on here a few days ago. "It's Rude To Stare!", from the episode Altared States, has Lucy Lawless's warrior stopping a family ritual before a boy is sacrificed, and it is now past 400,000 views. In its comments, viewers are mostly talking about the star herself, and one asks whether that is Karl Urban.
Behind it, two older favorites keep turning: Hobbs taking down a helicopter by hand in Hobbs & Shaw, and a compilation of Hiccup and Toothless facing the Red Death, Drago and Grimmel. The channel's daily views sit right around their usual level, and among similar-sized movie channels it is a middle-of-the-pack week, while the Chinese film channel 酱sir电影局 runs at roughly twice its normal pace.
