ARK Survival Descended, five episodes in, brings MrMEOLA back to a new series
A mega-modded map with a parasaur, a carno and a stubborn hunt for a strong tame filled every upload, and Episode #1 passed 80,000 views.

Welcome to a CRAZY NEW ADVENTURE IN ARK | DESCENDED MEGA MODDED Episode #1
A new series, every day. Meola started ARK Survival Descended on September 27 and kept going: five episodes in six days, each a fresh chapter of the same mega-modded map. The description promises new creatures, items and challenges, and lists the server settings, with taming three times faster than standard.
The titles read like a diary of small humiliations. A parasaur turned out to be stronger than he thought, a carno is not to be let out of sight, and by the fourth day ARK handed him something other than the strong tame he wanted. Episode #5 makes it a rule: the video does not end until he tames something strong. Ten hours after it went up, it was the busiest video on the channel.
The opener is still the one with the crowd, past 80,000 views. Its comment section reads like a reunion. Viewers say they have watched for a decade, remember his old run through every map before Extinction came out, or mourn a dinosaur from the last series. The most liked comment jokes that ARK burnout simply does not exist for him, and it is hard to argue: his channel's about text admits that pretty much all of it is ARK.
The daily views are running at nearly twice their usual level. Among the let's-play channels of his size, the louder weeks belong to ImCade and AstralSpiff, and MrMEOLA's week is the smallest of the group, but for a channel built on one game, a new adventure in it is the whole point.
