'Pro vs Short Hooper': rebounds and a 'big body' boast for MarTHREEnez

A day-old trash-talk Short from the Palm Coast creator already has more views than his best defender search, and its comments keep coming back to one line shouted on the court.

Trash talk is the whole format at MarTHREEnez, a channel that films pickup runs and one-on-ones around Palm Coast and Flagler County, Florida, and keeps the chatter running between buckets. "Pro vs Short Hooper" went up on Tuesday and passed 100,000 views a little after its first full day. That is about ten times what his Shorts usually manage in that time.

It has also gone past "Best Defender In Palm Coast?" and "Who's Wrong?", the two uploads that had carried his week so far.

The comment section moved faster still, more than five times busier than a usual first day. Most of it is about the smallest player on the floor. The most liked comment marvels at him pulling down three or four rebounds in a row against much taller players. Others point to a quick-release layup that keeps beating the defense.

The line everyone repeats comes from the game itself: a player's insistence that he is "a big body" down low, which viewers type back in capital letters. Several also note what the session did not have: no fouling, no complaining, nobody hogging the ball, just loud talk that stayed friendly.

That fits the motto on the channel's page, "Eat, Sleep, Lift, Ball."
