Mai Zimmy's spotless kitchen comes with a tomorrow problem

Three uploads pair a domestic punchline with mildew-towel tips and a pre-construction declutter.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

The BIGGEST Cleaning Lesson I’ve Learned #cleaning

Mai scrubs the sink, tackles the stovetop and works cleaning paste over the oven door. Then, in front of the clean kitchen island, her hands go to her head. The lesson behind all that effort: "...you're going to have to clean your kitchen again tomorrow."

"The BIGGEST Cleaning Lesson I've Learned #cleaning" was Mai Zimmy's most-watched new upload, reaching roughly 148,000 views. It is also the channel's busiest video right now. The joke has given viewers a place to itemize the chores that refuse to stay finished: laundry, floors and kitchens that looked ready for a whole clean weekend until someone needed a sandwich.

The other two uploads offered more practical company for that endless loop. "MILDEW TOWEL CLEANING HACKS & LAUNDRY TIPS YOU NEED TO KNOW" drew a substantial audience of its own, while "ALL DAY DECLUTTER My HUSBAND'S HOME as we prep for construction!" put clearing space on the agenda. An older bathroom-hacks video remains among the uploads drawing the most daily views, so the cleaning theme extends beyond the new posts.

Across the channel, the week brought more than a million views and modest subscriber growth. Daily viewing is currently above Mai's usual level. Among nearby home-and-DIY channels, Chris Garage78 had a particularly substantial week, while Dainty Diaries and DIY In Progress had smaller audiences and unchanged subscriber counts. Mai's contribution to the home-care shelf was distinctly hers: useful cleaning work, followed by the inconvenient reminder that finishing isn't quite the same as being finished.

There were times I truly thought I’d clean the whole kitchen on Friday so I can enjoy a clean kitchen all weekend 🫠

Ha! When I deep clean my kitchen thoroughly, I get a little nervous when my kids come around to grab something from the refrigerator or make a sandwich!

OMG so true it’s really the floors for me, now I see why some people don’t allow shoes inside the house.
