Even the rainwater drainage catches Enes Yilmazer's attention at Casa Arena. Along the terrace edge, the channels are formed into the concrete itself rather than attached as separate gutters. It is a small detail in a cliffside home with plenty of larger distractions.
His tour, "Inside an All-Concrete Home Built Into a Cliffside in Mexico," drew about 63,000 views in its first 12 hours, an unusually fast start for his regular uploads.
The team spent several days staying at the house in Zihuatanejo's Punta Garrobo area, so this is more than a walk through empty rooms. Chefs Felipe and Antonio Meneses prepare meals in the open kitchen, while videographer Erman Alkis and colorist Janak Panchal take turns showing their guest suites. Janak's room comes with custom bunk beds; his account of the stay includes local food and the sounds of nature.
Designed by Alejandro Rivadeneyra's Rivadeneyra Arquitectos, the house gives Enes plenty to explain. He examines the V-shaped underside supporting the entry bridge, then follows the concrete columns and beams anchoring the building into the rocky slope. Below the infinity pool, a two-story guest suite has a glass opening looking directly into the water overhead.
The video includes a paid sponsorship segment.
Viewers are picking up on the construction explanations, with several comments singling out those structural details. Others remember earlier Zihuatanejo tours, including one viewer who made a previous house their screen saver. For this visit, the people usually behind the camera get to make themselves at home.

The Highlight of the Tour was when Erman got to show off his Room with the Great View. ✨
@LoveJesusChrist-777See it on YouTubeI still remember the first home you toured out there. I used that home as a screen saver back then cause I loved it so much.

I like seeing how fully concrete homes are appreciated in the western world. Here in my city (very small) in the North East corner of India, All our homes are fully concrete as we live in the hills. But this home gives me some new ideas. Thank you Team Enes 🙏🏼👍🏼👍🏼
