MadSeasonShow collected more weekly views than any of the nearby gaming channels here, with DruuuWu and moresimsie also having busy weeks. One new upload did much of the work: "The Dawn of World of Warcraft Forever" has reached roughly 720,000 views.
As we reported here, the episode looks toward Forever's launch, but its most interesting question isn't about release day. It's about whether players can let an adventure be an adventure. Swimming near a lighthouse, MadSeasonShow argues that curiosity has been crowded out by efficiency. A debate over whether the Cozy Sleeping Bag costs more experience than it earns becomes his wonderfully specific example of leisure turning into homework.
The essay doubles as a diary for his character, Stereo Sanity. Between arguments about racial abilities and Blizzard's progression plans, he levels through Westfall, counts his limited funds in Ironforge and finds changes he welcomes, particularly Guild Banks. The video includes a sponsored coding-education segment.
Viewers are supplying their own side quests: spotting the Stereo Sanity naming joke, recognizing Old School RuneScape sound effects and recalling the Yogscast. Others pick out the Better Call Saul reenactment tucked into the discussion.
The channel added 3,000 subscribers over the week, a substantial part of its monthly growth. Daily viewing has since eased well below its usual level, though the new essay remains its busiest individual upload. The opening "World of Warcraft Forever" episode continues gathering views too, alongside "Unfinished Business - OSRS Blind Ironman No Guides", another adventure whose title leaves optimization at the door.

Can't believe it took me half of the video to realize his character was named Stereo Sanity. A sort of opposite to Mono Madness.
