An architect's sketches, archival photographs and a watchmaker's loupe supply Louis Vuitton's change of scene after its show-season uploads. The channel's sole new video is a Monterey watch advertisement, looking back to the house's first wristwatches before introducing their successors.
The short film begins in 1988 with the LV I and LV II, designed with Italian architect Gae Aulenti. It then moves through the LV I's return in 2025 to the LV II's new version for 2026: ceramic cases, an in-house mechanical movement, and black and green finishes. The emphasis is on simplicity rather than a crowded dial, a detail echoed by a viewer commenting on the pared-back design.
The upload has gathered about 5,100 views, a modest arrival in a week when the channel collected roughly 378,000 views overall. Its subscriber count was unchanged, while daily views are slightly below their usual pace.
Among neighboring fashion houses, CHANEL had a particularly large week for views, while Christian Dior added subscribers. Louis Vuitton retains the largest subscriber audience in this peer group.
The Monterey film isn't where most of the channel's immediate momentum sits. The earlier Felix upload tagged for the spring-summer show continues to attract thousands of daily views, substantially more than either the watch film or the alpine-themed "LV Ski Collection I LOUIS VUITTON." The runway's afterlife is proving longer than the week's upload schedule.
