Every machine lined up in one spot, and viewers ask where Robert is

Chris Gaskins's fleet parade passed 245,000 views in three days, with a lube skid and a pond finish around it.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

All The Equipment In One Spot! All The Equipment In One Spot!

"All The Equipment In One Spot!" does exactly what it says. Chris, the excavator operator behind letsdig18, parked his whole fleet side by side, and it became the most watched of his four uploads, about a quarter of a million views in three days.

The comment section reads like a long memory lane. Viewers recall the days when Chris worked for his uncle and bought his first excavator, and several say they have watched for close to a decade. The most popular joke is about who was missing from the lineup: Robert, the crew member many commenters call the best piece of equipment on the place. One adds that Robert now gets to put it all away.

The rest of the week was the work itself. The pond job wrapped up in "Pond Is Complete!", a new AMI HDPRO bucket got its first test, and on Sunday the channel's familiar Volvo 350 went in for service beside a new Thunder Creek lube skid. That maintenance video is moving at almost exactly the pace of the lineup, which says something about this audience: a grease job draws them as well as a parade.

The channel as a whole ran a little above its usual daily views, with subscribers holding steady. Among the machine channels near its size, Mr Hewes and Diesel Creek had the big weeks, each running well beyond their normal pace, while letsdig18 sat comfortably in the middle.
