Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Eruption - I Can't Stand the Rain || Drum cover by KALONICA NICX

Has KALONICA NICX already covered Eruption's "One Way Ticket"? One viewer beneath her new Eruption performance is planning to look it up. The answer is yes: her 2019 version has more than 26 million views and is her most-watched regular upload. A small comment opens a rather large door into the archive.

This time, the Eruption selection is "Eruption - I Can't Stand the Rain || Drum cover by KALONICA NICX". Labeled as a patrons' choice, it puts her behind an extensive acoustic kit, moving across toms and cymbals, with fills and accents threaded through the recorded disco track. It is the most watched of her two new uploads, with roughly 6,000 views.

The other cover makes a neat, possibly accidental pairing: "Utopia - Hujan || Drum cover by KALONICA NICX". "Hujan" means "rain" in Indonesian, though Utopia's pop-rock world is quite different from Eruption's disco. Posted later, it is currently adding views faster than the Eruption cover. The October drum solo "KALONICA NICX DRUM SOLO 21yo ~ Flux 2026" also continues to pick up views.

Subscribers held steady over the week, while today's viewing is above the channel's usual daily level. Among nearby instrument channels, Colby Fulton Drums is having a particularly busy spell, with daily views around twice its usual level. For KALONICA NICX, the week's distinctive touch is the return to Eruption, a band already woven deeply into her catalog.
