A shake-up in Joel Klatt's 10 after the weekend – did he get it right? #cfb #collegefootball

Texas sits in the lower half of Joel Klatt's top ten, yet his assessment sounds more like a championship endorsement: "I still think at their top end, at their ceiling, they're probably the best team in college football."

That gap between potential and placement is one of the talking points in his November rankings Short. It has drawn about 57,000 views in 14 hours, already well beyond the channel's usual full-day audience for Shorts. Comments have passed ten times the usual first-day total, too.

Klatt places Texas seventh while acknowledging its injuries. Above it, Utah earns recognition for its running game against Cincinnati, and UCLA for rushing and defensive takeaways. Notre Dame sits fourth ahead of its meeting with Miami.

At the top, Klatt makes a clear distinction between Georgia's defense, which he trusts, and Miami's offense, which he considers the best thing any team does. Miami keeps the leading spot it held in the ranking we covered previously, as we reported here.

The comments return repeatedly to the teams outside that leading pair. Viewers ask what justifies Notre Dame's position, argue for Utah to be higher and question BYU's absence. One broader question runs through the discussion: is any team truly elite this season?

The Short is a sponsored segment presented by Hilton. Its countdown leaves Ohio State ninth after the USC loss, with Klatt pointing to problems still to fix rather than dropping the Buckeyes out altogether.
